Useful definitions
Drug eluting stent: New generation drug-eluting stents.
High bleeding risk: We refer to the definition used by the ESC (an increased risk of spontaneous bleeding during DAPT, e.g. PRECISE-DAPT score ≥25 or ARC-HBR criteria met, as outlined in the following publication: https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/CIRCULATIONAHA.119.040167)
NSTE-ACS: Patients with acute chest discomfort but no persistent ST-segment elevation; on the myocardial level, this may be seen as non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) or myocardial ischaemia without cell damage (unstable angina)
